Coming from the north, take the Brenner freeway (A22) over the Brenner Pass to the Brixen/Pustertal freeway exit. From there take the state road no. 49 into Alta Pusteria until you reach Welsberg (Monguelfo). The Hotel Goldene Rose can also be reached via the Felbertauern. From Lienz it is another 56 km to Welsberg.
