Arrival by car

Coming from the north, take the Brenner freeway (A22) over the Brenner Pass to the Brixen/Pustertal freeway exit. From there take the state road no. 49 into Alta Pusteria until you reach Welsberg (Monguelfo). The Hotel Goldene Rose can also be reached via the Felbertauern. From Lienz it is another 56 km to Welsberg.

Arrival by train

Welsberg is a stop of well-known passenger trains. All other train connections lead to Franzensfeste (Fortezza). From there, trains leave every 30 minutes to Welsberg. A shuttle bus will take you comfortably directly to our hotel.
