A warm welcome to our historic building, in which the walls have been telling of the past for over 600 years. As one of the oldest buildings in Monguelfo, we are proud to have been family-owned since 1873. Originally an inn and farm with its own butcher's shop, we became a family-run hotel in 2004. Today, Wilhelm Schmid and his wife Mirjam are the fourth passionate generation to run the Hotel Goldene Rose. Thanks to the dedicated co-operation of all three children, our family tradition lives on in every detail.
Here, human warmth and kindness have found their rightful place. Our warmth and openness make young and old feel at home. Personal contact with our guests is very important to us, which is why we strive to create a friendly and unobtrusive atmosphere that reflects our love of tradition and is rounded off with a touch of modernity.
